Chester Vase Verdict (Jordan Yates' Chester May Festival 2018 Preview)

3.35: Chester Vase (Class 1) (Group 3) (1m 4f)
The Chester Vase is the feature contest of Day One of the Chester May Festival which is a Group 3 contest that’s ridden over a mile and four furlongs.
It’s currently headed by Hunting Horn for AP O’Brien who’s likely to be a very warm order and give a bold showing, as is Ispolini for the currently red hot Charlie Appleby yard.
I’m going to try and take them on though and to do this i’m going to side with YOUNG RASCAL for William Haggas and James Doyle. He was an expensive buy and won very well the last day at Newbury, he’s got a few big entries to his name and could go very well here.
Proschema for Tom Dascombe is a horse that’s in my tracker and has won very well in both starts this term, he could also feature.
Young Rascal – (4/1)
